Our Team
Alejandro is a sophomore pursuing degrees in Computer Science and Astrophysics at the University of Chicago and co-founded East Edge Securities in 2023. He has previous experience as a SWE Fellow with trading firm Jane Street and as a developer for UChicago's Networks team. He recently placed 3rd in the 2024 UChicago Trading Competition and has participated in fellowships with D.E. Shaw, Bridgewater, and Sixth Street. This summer, he will be joining Morgan Stanley as a Technology Summer Analyst.
Sebastian is pursuing a double major in Economics and Data Science at the University of Chicago and co-founded East Edge Securities in 2023. His previous experience includes the global macro hedge fund Key Square, alternative investment manager Aetos Capital, and global intelligence and advisory firm Ergo. He holds a board position at the intercollegiate student-run hedge fund Paragon Global Investments, and will be interning at Citadel Securities next summer as a fundamental analyst.
Christopher is a sophomore pursuing a double major in Economics and Data Science at the University of Chicago and co-founded East Edge Securities in 2023. He most recently worked with Pertento Partners and Tenzing Global Investors, both long/short public equity funds. On campus, he also holds a board position at the intercollegiate student-run hedge fund Paragon Global Investments. This summer, he will be joining Nexus Point Capital as a private equity summer analyst.
Myles is a sophomore pursuing a double major in Economics and Statistics at the University of Chicago. He recently worked with TowerBrook, a private equity firm primarily focusing on aviation and healthcare, and Fremont Street Partners, a search fund out of the Booth School of Business. This summer, he will be joining CAIS group, a fintech alternative investment firm. The following summer he will be interning with Goldman Sachs in their Financial Institutions Group.
Matthew is pursuing a double major in Economics and Data Science at the University of Chicago and currently serves as an analyst on the value investment team at Paragon Global Investments and the equity research team at Promontory Investment Research. Interested in private credit and equity, he has spent his summers as an investment analyst at HPS Investment Partners and Fremont Street Partners, and will be interning with Morgan Stanley next summer.
Duke is a freshman pursuing degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science at the University of Chicago and currently assists in running the UChicago William Lowell Putnam Team. He recently scored a 17 on the Putnam Examination and placed in the Top 5% of Manual Traders in IMC Trading's Prosperity 2 Competition. This summer, he is conducting research at the University of Chicago as a participant in the Mathematics REU Program.
